I wanted a new project I could run with just 2 hours per day and a phone so I head over to chat gpt and began telling it my idea.
It advised me to stick with Printify and Etsy then post over in TikTok and repost to instagram.
The instructions were simple, once the t-shirt is created on Printify and automatically shunted to Etsy, take my T-shirt design put it in an editor app (we use VN) and do a simple 6 second video and do a slow zoom then add some simple text to the image.
Why this works so well for a new TikTok account is that TikTok will push out short videos way further, they are easy to get completed watchings on, which is super valuable for growing followers initially.
We did this and within days had hundreds of followers, inside a week we got 1k followers.
I also discovered a tool called StoryZ. They have a feature where you can animate a still image. Basically you can prompt the editor to do whatever you want the character to do.
I checked around many ai apps and nothing could do anything close to StoryZ.
You get 500 free credits initially which is 25 7 second animations. Then if you subscribe (£29.99 a year) you’ll get 25 image generations per month. This was perfect for our Rizzdogz characters.
Another tip from ChatGPT for TikTok accounts under 1k was to only post 6-12 times per day.
We are sticking to this and as the follows are rising fast I decided to experiment a little. Adding one text video to TikTok per day and one talking head video. Again just for around 6-7 seconds only.
That way TikTok gets to push us out to the algorithm getting more confident about the content.
Keep the same format day in day out is the main takeaway, it might sound boring but this is good especially early on, you’re teaching the algorithm who you are and building trust that you are here and you are here to stay.

Getting over the 1k speed bump on TikTok is all about staying consistent, no big changes to your content. TikTok are just feeling you out to see if you meet the criteria to go over 1k
One small tweak that you can try is to take one tagline, we used “Follow for daily rizz dogs 🐶” added to a text post a product post and a video post.
Another tip if your numbers stall for a few days is to cut back slightly on the volume of your posts. So if you’re posting 12 times a day like us, cut it back to 6-9 posts per day.
It’s normal for follows to slow at the 10k mark and normal for views and likes to dip, TikTok is just trying to see who fits with your brand, so they may not push out your content as far in this time.
Hopefully by tomorrow morning we will be putting on this post to celebrate our RIZZDOGZ 1000 followers mark, wish us luck. 1 week is pretty good for this many follows. Save this post in your favourites and resit to see how we scale to 3k 5k and 10k
It’s great to have you on this journey with us I hope you find the content useful so far.

Well we got to 1500 followers and still managing a new 100 per day. It has stabilised and now TikTok is starting to look at us to make sure we are keeping it real as we approach the 2k mark.
We are using chat gpt to check that we are on track and what to expect as we gather more followers. We have been using an app called StoryZ and they are great for animating our dogs. I’ve subscribed to the premium play but so far they have not updated the credits.
We are using google photos to slightly animate the photos using the cinematic feature which, to be fair is doing us a solid. I mean we are getting over 200 views for every video so we are still on track.
So now it’s all about steady growth. Not changing up what we are doing, no massive changes, now is the time to just keep on doing what we are doing and let the numbers build up.
